The main aim of this project is to develop main features of AAL5-SAR using MPC8260.The MPC8260 is placed between the host system and a PHY device and is controlled by the host by accessing the internal registers of the MPC8260 via PCI (Peripheral Component interface) bus interface. The transmit/receive data is directly transferred with system memory under the management of the host, by using the internal DMA controller. An indication to each packet is transferred to the system memory to indicate the status of completion of transmission/reception.
